The South Eastern Private Hospital is operated by Aurora Healthcare, one of the leading private operators in Australia and provides mental health, rehabilitation, and general medical services.
The hospital comprises 203 beds and 229 on-site parking bays. In 2021, a $10m development was completed to increase the day oncology capacity, with a new wing providing an additional 18 chairs on Level 1, as well as the construction of 10 new single rooms at ground level and the conversion of seven existing shared rooms to single rooms.
New consulting spaces for doctors have also been added to the facility, along with upgrades to the main entrance and public areas. Nearby development land held for future expansion.
